Fuel : Prologue **Rise of the Guardians OC**

The ice built up on the road and I knew what I had to do. Jack Frost wanted me to do my job and I had to. Cars were starting to swerve on the highway. He was making this easy for me because I'm new.

I'm the entity of discord. Lack of harmony fuels the fire inside me so when the Guardians are way I can come out to play. Many people think I work with Pitch but I'm more of a free lance agent.

I appeared in a mini van where the air was a blaze with tension. The mother was half looking at the road and half looking at her children arguing in the back about who got the toy in the Happy Meal they had to share. The fire inside me was stoked up and I felt aglow. They couldn't see me because no one believed in me but I didn't care. My job didn't need to be observed, only felt.

I sat between the two children, encouraging the fighting with my bad energy. The mother turned around fully and screamed at the top of her lungs. My job was done when she took both eyes off the road. The car went out of control and careened into the median. The kids screamed but they were just scared, not hurt.  The worst part of this job is seeing their faces right before they hit.  The fear that they experienced was at my dispense and it made me feel sick to my stomach.  

You see, I'm not like Pitch. No one is ever hurt, only their bank accounts when they have to pay for the totaled car. Bad things have to happen every once in a while in order for people to believe in the Guardians and I'm that force. They need to believe because if they don't have the constant hope of the Guardians they have nothing. As long as there are Guardians there will be me. The moon chose me for a reason and I haven't figured out why but there are more tales to come. I'm Fuel, fuel to the good even thought I'm bad. But not all bad.
